I write Tales & Legends from the Ancient & Medieval Worlds. My target audience: Reluctant Readers (both young and mature). For over 20 years, I watched high school kids who didn’t like or who struggled with reading. The Legend of King Arthur & the stories from Ancient Greece/Anglo-Saxon England/Ancient Egypt/Ancient Arabia/Ancient Rome opened doors for these students. And those tales still open doors for kids of all ages & many adults.
If you are a mature reluctant readers or know a young reluctant reader, I urge you to investigate these Tales & Legends—even if you don’t read mine. While my Arthurian stories are written for ages 9-13, I won’t tell if you—a mature RR—pick up my legends to read. My Egyptian tales have a wide appeal, & my readers range in age from 9 to 60+!
