Dr. Kuffel is a retired ER physician who lives in the U.S. in the mountains of Montana. Medical and wilderness experiences, flying, dog sled racing in Alaska, and surviving a plane crash in the mountains of Idaho fuel her writing. She lives near Glacier Park with her husband, two dogs and a yard full of deer.
