John W. Howell is Author of ‘The John Cannon Thriller Trilogy.’ A prolific writer of fiction thrillers John turned to writing as a full-time occupation after an extensive career in business. Besides fiction thriller novels, John has a number of short stories published in various online magazines. One of his short stories has been recognized by Writers Digest in the Popular Fiction Writing contest. 

His new trilogy starts with, My GRL published by Martin Sisters Publishing and is the first of many exciting adventures of the book’s central character John J. Cannon. The second, His Revenge, and the third, Our Justice both published by Keewaydin Lane Books. His Revenge is available in Paperback and Kindle formats. Our Justice will be released in September 2016. The series is packed with action, murder, and terrorism readers will enjoy.

Born in Detroit Michigan, John left there to go to college and lived on all coasts of the US as well as Chicago and Indiana. John graduated with a Social Science degree from Michigan State University and went to work for a large consumer products company. He went back to school and received an MBA from Notre Dame University in South Bend Indiana. 

Happily married with three children and four grandchildren. John and his wife live on Mustang Island in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of South Texas. His wife enjoys volunteering for Austin Boxer Rescue, so, of course, they have a rescued boxer named “Lucy,” their daughter’s boxer named “Bailey” and rescue cat named “Stella.”
