Caroline is a writer and filmmaker from Dublin, Ireland. ARKYNE, STORY OF A VAMPIRE, is her first novel. She has written and co-produced two short films, ADAM [2013] and IN RIBBONS [2014] both of which have been officially selected to screen at several film festivals, nationally and internationally.
She is a recent finalist in The New York Screenplay Awards 2015 and The Hollywood Screenplay Competition 2015, with her screenplay, PIXER KNOWS, which also won an Atlantis Award for Best Family Fantasy Screenplay at the Moondance Film Festival, USA, in 2011. Caroline is also working on a children’s book of the same name. IONA’S HOUSE, a ghost story, recently won Best Feature Screenplay at the Fantasmagorical Film Festival, Kentucky, USA.
A regular blogger, Caroline’s series, Doing it With Passion, is regularly featured by Film Ireland, and she also writes reviews on her blog and Facebook page, The Librarian’s Cellar. Caroline is a member of the ‘Irish Writers Guild’, and the ‘Irish Film and Television Academy’. She is also currently working on her second adult novel, LADY BETH.
