C.D. Muller was born on December 9th, 1990, and wrote her first fantasy novel for the Armageddon Series when she was fourteen when she realized that having her own fantasy world was much better than living in reality. Her inspiration came from works by Edgar Allan Poe, C.S. Lewis, Christopher Paolini, and Naomi Novik, while also learning how make a madman speak after reading Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland.
As a student at Patagonia Union High, she took part in helping write out plays for her local town theatre, Tin Shed Theatre while also studying Calculus, Physics, and computers. Included in this, she was also invited to do special presentations for elementary classes to describe the process of writing a novel and the steps it takes to get one published, using the first two chapters of The Sorcerer’s Dragon as an example. She is currently working as a health care provider with people with disabilities while making plans to go back to school to earn a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. She lives in Sierra Vista, AZ with her husband-to-be and her two cats.
